Under the Radar is a Peabody Award winning investigation from Scripps Washington Bureau most commonly known its in-depth discovery of more than 1300 military court martial cases with at least 242 convicted rapists and molesters that have fallen under the radar. This investigation has lead to national legislation hearings and changes to better facilitate that all sex offenders regardless of military status are required to follow the same standard protocols as civilians.
As principal designer for this project it was critical to invoke a grungy and guttural experience leading into the piece. Under an incredibly tight turnaround of 3 days to provide an extensive package the open showcased above provides the backdrop for all other elements.
